The atmosphere in this place is very relaxed where you can opt for a spot indoors (that can seat 160 guests) or chill-out al fresco at the open-air terrace (that can seat 40). While the mainstream music of Scarlett is calmly cool and stylishly ambient, the vibe gets upbeat on weekends with a DJ providing entertainment and during the monthly themed party called ‘G Session.”

From the irresistible dishes on the menu these chefs composed, my host recommended a few that I must try on this visit—
the Baby Squid Provencal from the daily specials board;
a most divine entrée of Wagyu beef cheek- braised as a carbonnade, confit shallots, pomme mousseline and mustard jus;
from Chef Manuel Martinez’s creations, the Quenelle de brochet gantinee- River pike fish dumpling in Chardonnay sauce;
and to sate the sweet tooth, the Mille Feuille Grands Augustins, one of house’s signature desserts.
And every meal in this restaurant should be enjoyed with wine. “Scarlett does not only boast fine wines but also offers 10 wines by the glass changing randomly and premium spirits. Special attention has been given to the cocktail list which signatures include the “Pandanus Aqueduct” or the “Sparkle and Fade” prepared with homemade infused vodka,” shared my host.

With the rest of the entries in the menu that is a must-try as well, I don’t mind heading back to Scarlett again, and again. It’s one of the hippest places I’ve been to in Bangkok where wine, cuisine and vista are packaged to be relished in a single stop, and most importantly, at a very reasonable price. Considering those points, I know at Scarlett (you and) I can say “I will never go hungry again.”
