Philippine Airlines @75: rising higher, dropping it lower

Five years ago, when PAL turned 70, it went on a seat sale offering a 70% discount to its Mabuhay Miles members.

It was the reason why I was able to fly to Japan on Philippine Airlines Business Class.

I opted for this trip over two regional destinations on coach because it was my birthday present for myself. Nothing could be better than flying to a bucket listed place in style.

Hell, Japan! Spending my birthday on a bucket-listed place in 2010.

Just when I thought an ultimate seat sale wasn’t going to happen again (because I was told by an insider it wasn’t), the flag carrier will be dropping its fares even lower than it did five years ago (which was exclusive to Mabuhay Miles members).

On March 15, Tuesday, PAL will celebrate its 75th year in the business and will drop its fares by 75% off the published rate, all in.
