I will never go hungry again!

The shout-out says it all– 2 Michelin Star Inspired Menu, over 150 Fine wines, imported cheese & cold cuts, daily specials and an amazing view over Bangkok skyline all now available in one place: Scarlett wine bar & restaurant.

The place is pretty much like Tara, only more modern in red and filled with fine provisions. Scarlett will stylishly address anyone’s bidding for good food and wine without bleeding the pocket. How can you resist the treat?

Welcome to awesomeness

Scarlett wine bar & restaurant at Pullman Bangkok Hotel G, Silom’s newest lifestyle hotel, positions itself as the latest chill-out spot for Bangkok’s chic set. With a magnificent panorama of the Bangkok skyline from its 37th floor location as one of its appealing attractions, the venue makes it a perfect spot to enjoy its impressive list of wines and delectable menu from sunset ‘til late.

Wine, dine & savor the vista

The atmosphere in this place is very relaxed where you can opt for a spot indoors (that can seat 160 guests) or chill-out al fresco at the open-air terrace (that can seat 40). While the mainstream music of Scarlett is calmly cool and stylishly ambient, the vibe gets upbeat on weekends with a DJ providing entertainment and during the monthly themed party called ‘G Session.”

Scarlett can seat 140 indoors & 40 outdoors

“More than 150 different wine labels combined with a large cheese selection, cold cuts, daily specials, tapas and French Master Chef Manuel Martinez “Old time favorites”, all available on a stylish European-style menu. The food offer is completed with a selection of hot and cold tapas as well as daily fresh seafood selection prepared a la minute from Scarlett’s interactive kitchen,” said App Supakdhnasombat, Marketing Communications Director of Pullman Bangkok Hotel G.

The efforts of two creative culinary geniuses must be credited for a pleasurable gastronomic experience at Scarlett– the collaboration chef– 2 Star Michelin Chef Manuel Martinez- Chef owner of Le Relais Louis XIII restaurant in Paris; and Scarlett Executive Chef Sylvian Royer.
Lucky me. I met all the important people in the house– 2 Michelin Star Chef Manuel Martinez; Pullman Bangkok Hotel G’s Dir. of Sales & Marketing Nan Supakdhanasombat; Scarlett’s Executive Chef Sylvian Royer
From the irresistible dishes on the menu these chefs composed, my host recommended a few that I must try on this visit—
the Baby Squid Provencal from the daily specials board;

the ingeniously presented Salmon Tartar- hand-cut Salmon back with lime and hargan oil, and smoked a la minute;

a most divine entrée of Wagyu beef cheek- braised as a carbonnade, confit shallots, pomme mousseline and mustard jus;
from Chef Manuel Martinez’s creations, the Quenelle de brochet gantinee- River pike fish dumpling in Chardonnay sauce;
and to sate the sweet tooth, the Mille Feuille Grands Augustins, one of house’s signature desserts.

And every meal in this restaurant should be enjoyed with wine. “Scarlett does not only boast fine wines but also offers 10 wines by the glass changing randomly and premium spirits. Special attention has been given to the cocktail list which signatures include the “Pandanus Aqueduct” or the “Sparkle and Fade” prepared with homemade infused vodka,” shared my host.

Must-try: Scarlett’s signature cocktails
You & wine are one & the same.

With the rest of the entries in the menu that is a must-try as well, I don’t mind heading back to Scarlett again, and again. It’s one of the hippest places I’ve been to in Bangkok where wine, cuisine and vista are packaged to be relished in a single stop, and most importantly, at a very reasonable price. Considering those points, I know at Scarlett (you and) I can say “I will never go hungry again.”

Dining indoor with App & enjoy the view of the outdoor.
